I've always loved older things from the past. In today's world, the rush is always on toward the future. Groundbreaking discoveries in science and technology have had a hugely positive impact with respect to saving, enriching and simplifying lives as well as forging positive connections with people with whom we may not have formerly connected.
Still, though, there is something to be said for the past, for the simple things, be it a circa 1800s button, an early Peter Rabbit book or a 1920s postcard. While we as a civilization rush toward the future, we mustn't forget the past and the things we once held dear, for our past connects us to the past within ourselves
