This hand-painted porcelain pen tray with delicate floral design and gilt trimmed edges is circa late 1800s. I am estimating it is probably German in production, but since there is no maker's mark or country of origin, I cannot be certain.
Dimensions are 6.25" x 1.5" from edge to edge. There are no chips, cracks or crazing, but the gold trim does exhibit slight wear.
