This French, Our Lady of Lourdes brooch with medal is circa 1920s-1930s, based on the round hinge and trombone catch.
There is no hallmark and no maker's mark, and the brooch and medal are of an unknown metal. The front of the medal has a blue enamel Our Lady with four cream-colored insets. There is wear to the brooch portion as well as to the medal, mainly on the reverse. Also, the faded red cord by which the medal hangs is frayed and worn.
Dimensions for the bar portion of the brooch are 1 ¼" x ⅛". The length of the cord and medal portion is 2 1/16". The medal is ¾" x ½".
