This antique quill holder/etui is circa early 20th century. It measures 2.5" in length. The quill fits securely in the etui.
The etui has condition issues as seen in the fourth and fifth photos where indentations in the metal are visible on the main portion as well as on the cap. Also, there is overall discoloration to the metal, which bears no hallmarks or maker's marks. Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
