Well-worn Our Lady of Chartres medal from France measuring 1" x ½", including the bale. Reverse reads: SV de Notre Dame de Chartres, which translates to: Souvenir of Our Lady of Chartres.
No maker's mark or hallmark. Probably circa 1920s.
Again, please note that the medal, particularly the face, is well worn, possibly from devotional rubbing during prayer.
