Movitex, Costume Jewelry, Gold Tone Clover Brooch, Made in France

This gold tone, costume jewelry, clover brooch with black central stone is marked "Movitex" and has a safety catch. It measures 2.25" in length, is circa 1970s-1980s, and was made in France.

*****Condition: Please note that in different light, the brooch takes on a more rosy gold hue, and in other light, the brooch has a somewhat purple iridescence to the ends. I believe this is the result of wear to the metal. This is costume jewelry so the metal is only gold-colored and the stone is faux. The original name Mo-Vi-Tex included the first two letters of the brand founders – Morand and Viciot, plus three letters of the word “textile”.
