This papier-mâché, lacquered snuff box with decoration of metal inlay is from the Third Napoleonic Era (1852-1870) and measures 2 ⅛" x 1 ¼" x ½" depth.
*****Condition: Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige. The box opens and closes well but has overall surface wear in the form of scratches and small gouges/nicks, especially on the lid. Please refer to the eighth, ninth and tenth photos, in particular, to see close up photos of the box's lid. Lastly, the edges of the box, as viewed when the lid is open, have wear and some lacquer loss.
