This antique, French book, Henri le Grand, is from the writings of Hardouin de Péréfixe. It was published in Tours, France by Ad Mame et Cie (Alfred Mame and Company) in 1853. 235 pages. French. Two tissue covered illustrations at front of book. Paste-down illustration of Henri le Grand on front cover. Designated for use by Christian youth (À L'usage De La Jeunesse Chrétienne). Book measures 7.5" x 4.5".

*****Condition: Fair with chipping to the edges of the spine and front and back boards. Some edge wear and shelf wear as well as staining and darkening to the front and back boards. Pages have ripples, probably owing to storage in damp conditions. Light foxing, mostly on page edges. Slight moldy odor.

Please note that the 3 and 5 used in the page numbers are markedly similar. The book does have the correct number of pages and is not missing any.
