These lion's paws silver-plated sugar tongs were found at the Marché aux Puces de Vanves. They come in a silk (The silk is lining the underside of the lid.) and felt lined box (I believe it to be the original box but cannot be certain.) and measure 5.25" in length. The box measures 7.5" x 2.25" x 1.25".
The maker's mark on the tongs denote that they are silver-plate (a rectangular lozenge with an "E," a flower, and what might be a "G" is present, as seen in the 6th photo.) I've researched this mark but cannot find any manufacturer associated with such a mark. I believe these tongs to be French, but they could also have another provenance.
I've not cleaned the tongs but will leave this up to the discretion of the new owner.
*****Condition: Please note that the box's interior has a strong, musty smell. The silk and felt have damage in the way of fraying and discoloration. Also, the tongs do have scratches. Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
