This kugelhof (kugelhopf) mold is from the Alsace region of France. It is more than likely antique or at the very least vintage since it has the hallmarks of these designations. It would be considered purely functional since it is bare terracotta on the exterior with a partial glaze and a glazed interior in colors indigenous to the region. It measures almost 4" across and is approximately 1 ½" deep (measuring the mold portion and not the lip, which measures ½".)
*****Condition: There is an area of rough, unglazed ceramic at the tip of the central protrusion with the hole. I don't know if the glaze chipped off or if this area was perhaps unintentionally left bare owing to the glaze running downward. See last photo for this depicted the most clearly. Also, some glazing is uneven as would be expected in a handmade and not mass-produced ceramic. Please let me know if you need more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
