This 19th century French canivet features a communicant and angels. A (silk?) green ribbon is threaded through the heavy paper card, and there is a piece attached to the reverse that allows the canivet to be displayed. The word "Souvenir" is written on the reverse as well. Also suitable for framing. Dimensions are 4" x 3.25".
*****Condition: Please note that the paper backing has some damage to the edges, with missing areas on two corners. These are not visible from beneath the ribbon. The ribbon has considerable fraying and some loss, especially to the upper left corner. Finally, the reverse of the canivet has some staining/discoloration. Do examine the photos carefully and please let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
