This kugelhopf (kouglof) mold is from the Alsace region of France. It measures almost 3" across and is approximately 1 ½" deep This is a newer mold (as opposed to antique or even vintage) since it is glazed so decoratively in blue as well as shades of cream, green, and red on the exterior.
Please note the shine of the ceramic kugelhopf is evident in the reflection in the outer surface. These are not areas of damage or imperfections and are blue when viewed in person.
*****Condition: Please note that there are two areas of damage as seen in the last two photos. The ninth photo shows a small area of glaze loss on the edge, and the tenth photo shows a more prominent area of glaze loss in the form of chipping that has been painted over after the glazing/damage resulting in a different shade of blue. Also, there is overall crazing. Please examine the photos carefully and let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
