This three dimensional pendant of Mont-Saint-Michel is marked only with déposé on the underside. This means "registered" and was widely used in France from the 19th century up through the early 1900s with its usage dropping off after WWI. I believe this piece is from the early 1900s.
The base measures approximately 1" x ½", and the height is ¾", not including the bale.
The piece is unmarked so I can't verify that it is anything other than a base metal.
