Hand-painted porcelain oval of the Passion of Christ enclosed in a Black Forest frame. Circa 1890s. From France but exact provenance is unknown.
Dimensions of frame are approximately 4.5" x 3" at its widest. The porcelain oval measures approximately 1 ¼" x 1 ¾".
*****Conditions: Please examine the photos carefully to see all incidences of chipping to the frame. In particular, view just below the upper right leaf, the bottom center ornamentation, and the lower right leaf edge. Do examine all of the photos and let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
