This vintage, circa 1940s lucite/Plexiglass compact is 5" across. It does not click shut, but just closes to.
These large compacts were called flapjacks. This might be a Mavco compact, but it is unmarked as are the bright pink powder puff and screen.

Please examine the photos closely. Some issues that might or might not be apparent are: scratches, particularly on the compact's front; a very small chip apparent in the last photo where the blue arrow is pointing near the edge of the compact and the three knuckle hinge; a clasp that does not click closed; and a cloudy mirror.
