This wooden box has chipping blue paint and a decoupaged couple in 18th century dress on the lid. The inside looks as if it was given a coat of spray paint, as evidenced by the inside of the lid in photo two. Additionally felt pads have been secured to the box's feet.
I believe this box is quite possibly an antique, but it has been altered, as mentioned above.
The lid's dimensions are 12 ¾" x 8 ¼". Depth is approximately 2 ¼". The base is 12 ½" x 7 ¾".
This would make a nice box to hold keepsakes.
