These two pincushions are joined with a needle and can easily be separated. The larger of the two pincushions is 4" across and the smaller is 1 ½" across.
The style is distinctly Shaker, and although they could very well be antique, I'm listing them as vintage since I am not certain. The set was purchased in New Hampshire from an antiques dealer.
Please note the wear on both of the pincushions, particularly the larger. The smaller also has been mended, as shown in the fifth photo.
