These two pieces of architectural molding known as corbels are comprised of wood that has designs carved into them. The pieces are lightweight and measure 5 ⅛" and 5 ¼" in height. Although there is a ¼" discrepancy in height between the two pieces, this is not readily apparent when the pieces are displayed as in the last photo.
The bases are both 2 ⅝" x 2". There is wear on each of the pieces where they were removed from their original placement. Also, in photo five, you'll notice a chip in the lower right hand corner of the piece on the left side.
These are definitely vintage and quite possibly antique, but I am uncertain as to their age so I'm listing them as vintage. They were purchased in New Hampshire.
