I believe these pieces of an unidentified metal to be antique, but since I am not certain and don't know their provenance, I am marking them as vintage.
Slightly different in size, one measures 5 ½" and the other 5 ¼". Both are 2 ¼" at their widest, and their total weight together is 21 ounces.
There are no holes for screws so I am not certain of their original use. Each satyr is surrounded by what appear to be a scrolling foliage of acanthus leaves.
Please note the gaps on one of the pieces as shown in photo six.
