Sorry, this item has sold.

This Royal Worcester (Spode) pitcher or creamer has a date code of "O" below the circular mark, meaning it was produced in 1889. It measures 4.25" from the rim to the base and 4.50" from the lion's mouth to the base. The base measures 2.25" across, and the opening from the edge of the lion's mane atop his head to the lip of the pitcher measures 1.50".

The piece's edges are lined in gilt, and there is a leaf motif design on the body, also trimmed in gilt. The handle's uppermost portion is a lion's paw, and the lion's mouth, also the spout, is gilt on the underside.

The pitcher does have some surface wear in the way of light marks on the body, but there are no chips, crazing or cracks. There are no repairs evident. Do let me know if you would like more photographs of this piece as I'll be happy to oblige.

Your pitcher will be sent via Priority Mail and fully insured.

Thank you for looking.
