This two tier wood mail tray is possibly British in origin as the ads pasted into the top and bottom trays are for British businesses. Of course, these could have been added later by someone in the U.S. or elsewhere so we don't know for certain. I do believe the tray to be circa 1930s.
The trays measure 12 1/2" x 10 1/4" x 2 3/8". The height of the piece is approximately 9" and the length is 13" from front to back.
Please note there is an "IN" label on the back of the bottom tray. Also, please note areas of discoloration, pitting and wear to the wood and the condition of the advertisements, particularly in the bottom tray. If you'd like more photographs, please let me know as I'll be happy to oblige.
