This Russian caviar tin is from the Balyk Corporation in the city of Astrakhan. I believe it to be circa early 1990s but cannot be certain. Older tins have "Soviet Union" on them. Dimensions are 6 1/4" across the lid and base. Depth is 2 1/2". Closed, the tin measures 3" from top to bottom.
Please note an edge of the bottom of the tin has a crimp in it as seen in the third photo. Also please note the scrapes and scratches, including numbers and the letter C (shown in photos four through seven) as well as an indentation in photo six.
