These six wooden quill bobbins are wrapped with lace weight yarn or thread in red, white, cream, and green. One of the reds and one of the greens have faded and are of a lighter shade than the other red and green bobbins.
The holder is very rustic and primitive and has worn green paint under the top and on the top of the bottom portion. Please let me know if you'd like more photographs as I'll be happy to oblige.
Two of the bobbins measure 9" and the other four measure 8.75" in length. The holder measures 11" in height and 4" across the top and base. Please note there are dowels extending from the top portion onto which the top of the bobbins slide. The ribbon is holding them steady.
The entire piece (holder and bobbins) weighs 34 ounces.
