This antique tabletop game of skittles was made in Germany as attested to the stamp on the bottoms of more than one of the pieces. The mark of the country name only is indicative of late 19th century, early 20th century production.
The set contains nine pins and two balls, all with wear commensurate with age and use. Although all pieces and balls have wear, please note that the most worn piece is shown in the fifth photo, second pin from the left. If you'd like more photos, please don't hesitate to ask as I'll be happy to oblige.
Each piece has a hole on the bottom so that it slides onto the nails on the wood board. The board measures 12" x 8.50", and the skittles measure 4" in height except for the taller of the pieces, which measures 4.25". The balls measure 5" in circumference.
I am not certain if the game came on the board or if someone made the board to store/display the game. The back has a "10" on it as seen in the fourth photo.
Any shipping overage of $1.00 or more will be refunded to you upon shipment of your skittles game.
