I'm not certain of the age of these green and gold tiebacks. The rope portion feels like silk. There are gold braided loops amassed together to give an element of design and texture comprising the upper portion of the tassels as well as through which the loops appear at the ends.
Please note one tassel has some errant cords. I've not attempted any corrective trimming although I've found one cord that has either pulled up into the top portion of the tassel or has been trimmed. Also, the cords of this particular tassel have some creasing.
The cord portions from the tassels to the loops measure 9 1/4". From the bottom of the tassel to the loop, the tiebacks measure 12 3/4". These can be used alternately for drawer pulls.
