Pierrot/Pierrette Appliqué, Hand Painted Silk

This charming Pierrot/Pierrette (I think she looks feminine.) appliqué from France consists of a hand-painted silk face attached to a pleated silk collar edged with four rows of lace. She is more than ready to adorn a boudoir pillow!

Condition issues:

Please note the crease by Pierrot's/Pierrette's right eye when looking at the photograph as well as the darker portion on her cap and the crease on the lower left side of her cap. I am uncertain if these creases can be removed. I definitely would first consult an expert of antique textiles before attempting anything.

Also, the face portion is very loose and could stand to be tacked on the back to the collar. I will leave all restoration up to the discretion of the new owner.

This piece measures approximately 8" and I estimate it is circa 1920s-1930s.
