This Infant of Prague solid chalk ware statue is 12.5" in height from his base to the tip of his crown. His body is white chalk ware while his face, crown, and globus cruciger (Latin for cross-bearing orb) are glazed. I'm estimating this statue is circa 1930s but am listing it as pre-2000 as I cannot be certain of its exact era.
There is wear in the form of marks and scrapes and also some soiling to the body and base although most of what you see in the photo showing the body are sculptural embellishments like flourishes to the robe. The base does have some chipping around its edges and on the underside.
The Infant is wearing vestments in the form of a gown and cape that have significant wear, fading and soiling.
