Thank you to www.historicfood.com for their explanation of entrée molds.
Please note there is wear on the face of the mold as well as on the back in the way of scratches and discoloration and possibly some rust.
Entrée molds were used to create small, detailed entrées, usually forcemeats, but they were also used for sweet dishes.
Measurements are 2 3/4" x 2" at the widest point. I am not certain of the material from which the mold is made so I am uncertain as to its safety for food usage. This molds is circa late 1800s.
Please note the yellowish glare in the photos is from a light and not on the actual mold, which is silver-colored.
Thank you for looking.

Lots of conversation with the seller which made the transaction very easy. I would definitely buy from her again
