This 1925 French bicycle tax plate measures approximately 2 1/8" x 1 1/8". These plates were once required for taxation purposes.
The badge has an ornate design with the year 1925 and the seal of the French Ministere des Finances with the god Mercury (Hermes) in the center.
Please note there is some rippling to the metal from usage, but it is in overall good condition. Do let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
