This W & E Corn flow blue dessert bowl in the pattern known as Ayr measures 4 3/4" across from rim to rim. The pottery mark dates this piece to the time period of 1900-1904. At this time, Corn manufactured their pieces in Longport in the county of Staffordshire in England.
Please note the last three photos for close-ups of small chips to the edges. Also, there is overall crazing and the gold is worn from the rim of the bowl. The sixth photo shows a hairline crack that can barely be felt with the fingertip and that does not proceed through the porcelain. Do let me know if you would like more photographs as I'll be happy to oblige.
