This missal from Bayeux, France was published in 1902. It is leather-covered and embossed with a gold decoration around the border of the front and back covers and also has the owner's initials, A.M., embossed in gold on the front cover. 604 gilt-edged pages. Ribbon place holder. Photograph of owner as seen in third photo. Engravings and illustrations throughout. Gilt-embossed "Missel de Bayeux" on spine.
****Condition: The book has a musty odor and rippling of the pages, probably owing to being stored somewhere damp. Some pages have foxing. Spine has wear in the form of creasing from book being opened.
